The Global Fund for Forgotten People awarded a grant to the Hungarian Relief Service and the Embassy at Large of the Order of Malta to the Roma People. The grant was used to strength the work started six years ago by the Hungarian Relief Service in Gyula. This social cooperative offers employment to local Roma inhabitants, operating a butcher’s shop and a store providing locally produced fruits and vegetables for the local school and kindergarten.
